Can I sue a lawyer for the emotional distress he caused me by suing me?
Assuming a lawyer decided to sue me (regardless of whether it was justified or not) and that lawsuit caused me to lose sleep, my health deteriorated rapidly so that I was at death's door, my breathing became labored, I couldn't eat, I felt nauseous and weak, I had to quit my job and take on a 24 hour a day carer, etc. - would this be a good basis for a counter-suit alleging monstrously inhumane emotional distress? Can I demand hundreds of trillions of dollars in compensation from this evil lawyer, or do the courts cap the settlement I'm allowed to ask for at some amount? Can I demand "satisfaction" from the lawyer in my lawsuit - so that if I win he has to duel me (legally - since it's by court order) in an open field, with two "seconds" and a doctor with a small black bag present? I'm prepared to allow him the choice of weapons
